Reflecting on his appointment, Mr Hastings commented, "It is an extremely exciting time to become part of Ardingly College. Harry is married to Kate, a consultant anaesthetist at Brighton Hospital, and they will be moving to Ardingly with their children, Lizzie (11), Barney (9) and Rex (5). He has an educational vision closely aligned to ours, and is committed to the inclusive and all-round education that Ardingly offers. He has taught at both boarding and day schools, including the Dragon School in Oxford and Cumnor House. Mr Hastings is currently the Head of Brighton College Prep School. Harry Hastings has been appointed Head of the Prep School from January 2018.
